If the Ford manufacturer's factory warranty is still in effect, anyone who owns the vehicle during the warranty period is entitled to warranty service. The warranty covers any repairs needed to correct defects in materials or workmanship of all covered parts and components. Warranty service will be provided free of charge, including such costs as removing and reinstalling a covered component or system. Sample coverage only.
How Long Is The Ford Factory Warranty Valid For?
The Ford factory warranty that is provided directly by the Ford Manufacturer, is valid for 3 Years / 36,000 Miles. There are two measures used to determine how long your Ford factory warranty is valid for.
1) Years in Service The Ford factory warranty is valid for 3 years. 2) Miles Driven The Ford factory warranty is valid for 36,000 miles. The measure that occurs first determines how long your coverage lasts. For example, your Ford factory coverage lasts for 3 years, unless you drive more than 36,000 miles before 3 years elapse. The Ford factory warranty start date begins on the date the vehicle is delivered to the 1st retail buyer or put into use, whichever occurs first. The factory warranty is provided by the Ford Manufacturer.
How Do I Check If My Ford Is Still Under Factory Warranty?
When you purchase a new or used Ford, the manufacturer includes coverage on all or most of a vehicle's systems or components during the full warranty term. If you would like to find out if your vehicle is still covered, please contact your nearest Ford dealer service center or the Ford Manufacturer and make sure you have the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and mileage ready when you call.
Who Pays For Repairs If I'm Covered Under The Ford Factory Warranty?
You will not be charged for repairs covered by any applicable Ford factory warranty during the stated coverage periods, unless specifically stated elsewhere. Some states may require a tax on a portion of warranty repairs. Where applicable law allows, the tax must be paid by the owner of the vehicle.
